Each Sunday we gather in the beauty of the Peak District to walk, talk, worship, and pray together. There are no pews, no stages, and no spectators — just people on a shared journey towards Jesus, our True North.
Welcome to True North Church — a new expression of church rooted in the landscapes and communities of the High Peak. We serve people across our area including Glossop, Buxton, Castleton, Hope Valley, Dove Holes Chapel-en-le-Frith, gathering people who love the outdoors and are exploring faith and community.
True North exists to help people encounter Jesus in everyday life — not just in buildings, but on paths, hillsides, and shared journeys. While our gatherings often take place outdoors across the Peak District, we’re closely connected to Revive Church, whose base is in the heart of New Mills.
True North bases itself out of Revive Hub on Market Street, New Mils — a space for coffee, community, and connection that serves the town throughout the week.
Our heart is to see people thrive in a Bible-centred, Spirit-filled, relational church, where faith is lived out in community rather than confined to a single Sunday gathering. We value deep connection, real discipleship, and doing life together — while still celebrating the power and joy of gathering to worship.
True North Church is part of ROAR Church network, which belongs to the Assemblies of God (AoG Great Britain)and the Evangelical Alliance.
